FAQ about Macarons
Are your macarons gluten free?
All macarons at Nova are Gluten Free expect the Lotus Biscoff macaron. The cakesicles can be made gluten free upon request.
How long will the macarons last?
The macarons will last up to 4 days in the fridge, macarons also freeze really well, if you can’t manage to eat them all put them in an air tight container and place in the freezer. All our macaron boxes contain a care label which explains how to store your macarons.
How long will the cakesicles last for?
The cakesicles last for 4 days in the fridge, these also freeze really well, transfer them in to an airtight container and keep in the freezer until youre resdy to eat them.
Are the macarons and cakesicles vegetarian?
Yes they are, however they are not vegan.
How do I assemble a Macaron tower?
The towers are very easy to assemble, the tower slots together, using the largest tier as the base and going up in size, largest to the smallest. Make sure the macarons have been in the fridge for at least 30 mins before handling them (when they are cold they are more stable which makes them easier to handle). Place the macarons on the tower vertically and pack them closely together so they stay in place.
Please note: if macaron tower is posted back to me, you will recieve an £8 refund.
FAQ about ordering and delivery
When I order, how long will it take for them to be delivered?
Orders of 20 macarons or cakesicles or below it can take up to 5 working days to be delivered.
Larger orders or customised orders can take up to10 working days.
I want to place an order for a wedding or special event. How do i do this?
Please fill out the ‘contact me’ form or email me with as much detail as you can, including:
- How many macarons / cakesicles you’d like
- Would you like them customised and what flavours you’re keen on
- Also state the date you want them for
Once you have sent this you get a response in 24 hours. All prices are completly customised and based on quantity and labour intensity.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
For orders of £70 and more, a 30% deposit is required and the rest is payable a week before the date of the event.
Where do you deliver to?
We deliver all over the UK using 1st class royal mail, which is £3.55 for orders up to 20 macarons.
Delivery for cakesicles starts at £3.55.
Delivery costs vary depending on size of order.
Tracked 1st class delivery is available upon request at an additional cost.
How do I order the macarons and cakesicles as a present?
When you enquire please state they are a gift and you can add an optional giftcard for an additional 75p. Please write a small message you’d like the gift card to say.
Can I buy a gift card?
Yes you can, please enquire via email or contact page.
What allergens are there in your macaons and cakesicles?
All the macarons contain: Almonds, eggs and dairy All cakesicles contain: Gluten (gluten free available upon request), eggs and dairy Please fill out the contact form to inform us of any allergies and we will do our best to cater for you.
